From “Hands Off” to “No Kings”: What To Expect at the June 14, 2025 No Kings Protests
The Astrology Behind the Protests
If you think these protests are just another news cycle flare-up, you're not looking high enough. Two mass mobilizations. Two similar planetary transits. One rising wave of resistance.
On April 5, protestors filled the streets under a Saturn–Uranus sextile. Today, they’re back under a sharper, more volatile square between Mars and Uranus. This isn’t just a symbolic configuration; it gives us an idea of what to expect. The astrology mirrors the movement: what began as organized dissent is about to erupt into all-out confrontation.
Here's what the sky tells us about what’s coming next.
Saturn Builds the Structure of Disruption
On April 4, 2025, Saturn in Pisces sextiled Uranus in Taurus—a cooperative alignment between the planet of structure and the planet of rebellion. Saturn governs law, order, and systems of control. In Pisces, it emphasizes moral frameworks, ideological boundaries, and spiritual codes. When Saturn forms a sextile to Uranus, it doesn’t resist change—it provides the infrastructure for disruption. This is an aspect that supports the strategic design of rebellion, where opposition isn’t chaotic but deliberate, lawful, and sustainable.
“Hands Off”: Resistance as a Legal Strategy
The following day, April 5, Indivisible launched the Hands Off protests—focused on defending constitutional norms, democratic checks, and civil liberties. The alignment of Saturn and Uranus reflected the tone of these protests: nonviolent, coordinated, policy-oriented. Protestors weren’t seeking confrontation—they were asserting control through legal pressure and organized dissent. Saturn’s influence offered structure. Uranus introduced the destabilizing edge. Together, they opened a window for reform through resistance.
Mars Provokes a Confrontation
By June 14, the tone shifted. Indivisible planned a second, larger wave of protests under the banner No Kings. These occur on the eve of Mars in Leo squaring Uranus in Taurus, a much more volatile configuration than the previous Saturn-Uranus sextile. Mars represents force, aggression, and action. In Leo, it operates dramatically and demands attention. It seeks to lead—or to dominate. The square to Uranus adds unpredictable, high-voltage tension, often correlating with accidents, outbursts, or sudden acts of defiance. Where Saturn sextile Uranus created opportunity for strategic change, Mars square Uranus creates explosive pushback.
“No Kings”: When Pressure Breaks
No Kings is not just a slogan—it’s a rejection of autocratic consolidation, and the astrology reflects that rejection becoming active conflict. Although the protests are organized with peaceful intentions, this square suggests they could turn volatile due to authoritarian desires for no disruption. Mars-Uranus combinations are historically associated with civil unrest, clashes with military or police, and sudden escalations. As public anger meets entrenched force, the probability of physical confrontation rises.
From Containment to Rebellion
These two moments—April 4 and June 15—mark a clear progression.
April’s sextile gave the movement structure and intention.
June’s square pushes the movement into direct confrontation.
What began as restraint and planning now enters a phase of urgency and rupture. Saturn offered structure. Mars brings escalation. Uranus has been present throughout, eroding the old and creating space for something else—whether that’s renewal or revolution depends on what happens next.
There are no kings here. But power is being claimed, and the sky reflects the challenge.
What to Expect
If you're planning to protest today, you should expect heightened tension, unpredictability, and the possibility of confrontation with police, military, or other armed authority. Mars square Uranus is not a stable transit—it’s volatile, aggressive, and prone to escalation. Even peaceful protests can be met with sudden force, especially when the stakes are high and the crowd is large.
This isn’t a reason to stay home—but it is a reason to show up prepared. Bring what you need to stay safe. Bring signs, snacks, water, and your common sense. Know your rights. Know your exits. Expect emotions to run high. Stay grounded and stay with your people.
Don’t assume that law enforcement will act predictably or responsibly.
Astrologically, this is a flashpoint. The system is unstable and is being tested in real time. What began as lawful dissent in April is now entering open confrontation. If you show up today, you are not just protesting—you are participating in something much bigger. The sky confirms that this moment matters.
