  • April 24: Venus conjunct Saturn

  • April 26: Mars opposite Pluto

Setting the Scene

Our story begins last week, when Mercury met Neptune in Aries while Mars was still in Cancer—scrambling messages and stirring up misdirection. Venus edged toward Saturn, forcing a check-in on emotional maturity and moral boundaries, while Pluto continued its quiet audit of institutional power.

The fog is lifting. This week doesn’t offer clarity—it demands accountability. What we avoided last week becomes unavoidable now.

“Active avoidance becomes unmanageable. We’re being called to confrontation.”

The astrology ahead reads like a press briefing and a policy shift rolled into one: ego meets its limit, power is pulled from the spotlight, and moral boundaries are quietly enforced. Let’s break it down. We’ll go through what to expect from the external world and then shift our focus to how we each can handle it.

Sun square Mars (April 20): When Ego Meets Resistance

The Sun in Taurus squares Mars in Leo—two fixed signs, neither known for flexibility and both eager to be stubborn. The Sun, representing steady authority, dominates Mars’ need to be seen and obeyed.

Expect posturing. Flash. A scramble for control. This aspect tends to show up as:

  • Leadership struggling to hold narrative control

  • Outbursts framed as strategy

  • Power grabs that fall flat

  • Economic standoffs and legislative friction

“Taurus wants sustainability. Leo wants applause.”

This square marks a pivot from reactive leadership to slow-burning consequences. Taurus wants practical harmony among people and will cling to how things have always been done. Leo desires recognition and will fight dirty to get it. One of them gets humbled in this clash.

This dynamic continues a theme we’ve been tracking since February: what happens when performance outpaces preparedness? A mess.

Sun square Pluto (April 23): The System Withholds Support

The Sun moves into an inferior square with Pluto, turning the spotlight onto who holds actual influence—and who just appears to.

Pluto is a strategic troublemaker lurking in the dark. In Aquarius, it dismantles systemic control within. This week, it targets superficial authority: leaders without backup, institutions that can’t hold their own weight.

This may look like:

  • Whistleblowers going public

  • Infrastructure sabotage or internal dissent

  • Executive decisions unraveling after public pushback

  • Quiet policy reversals that signal deeper instability

“Pluto doesn’t collapse power in broad daylight; it works as a quiet eviction.”

This square echoes Pluto’s early ingress into Aquarius last November, when we first started seeing control shifts from figureheads and systems. Pluto’s influence over the Sun is covert, but powerful. This transit appears like a righteous saboteur to expose cracks in higher authority.

The civic structure will not collapse. The People just have no trust in their leadership anymore.

Venus conjunct Saturn (April 24): Grace Under Pressure

Venus meets Saturn for the third time in Pisces, concluding a longer conversation about value, boundaries, and emotional integrity.

Venus wants connection, but Saturn demands transparency, and in the sign of Pisces, both must go on faith alone. This trio doesn’t offer easy answers, but it insists on alignment. Venus has more strength in this configuration, so even if facts aren’t forthcoming, the implication is that Venus’ sovereignty as the Morning Star will level the playing field, bringing themes of relentless compassion and justifiable action.

You might see:

  • Financial guidelines hardening

  • Social norms being clarified through quiet, strategic choices

  • Emotional decisions guided by long-term consequences rather than short-term ease

“This is what grace looks like when it grows a backbone.”

This is a tone-setting moment that will serve as an irreversible example. We saw previews back in January and March—when grace came with expectations of maturity. This time, those expectations are present, but the leniency is not.

Mars opposite Pluto (April 26): Conflict Without Control

Mars in Leo opposes Pluto in Aquarius in the most combustible aspect of the year. Mars wants performative actions of strength and rulership with the intention to intimidate enemies. Pluto is more patient and wise. It prefers manipulation tactics and forcing concealed agendas out of public sight.

This aspect often plays out as:

  • Confrontations that escalate quickly due to ego

  • Institutional breakdowns exposed by individual failures

  • Public figures unraveling under pressure

  • Strategic use of chaos to redirect blame

With Mercury and Neptune also in Aries, the public is flooded with communication static: mixed messages, false starts, and performative rage. Conviction will replace facts as each side attempts to make their case for public support. The Moon in Aries stokes emotional urgency and elevates the reactive tendencies of the populace.

“Mars demands to be in charge, and Pluto doesn’t argue. It just removes leverage.”

We’ve been building toward this conflict since September 15, 2024, when Mars squared the lunar nodes, sparking a deep tension between confrontation and compromise. Now, Mars faces violent tensions in its opposition with its more sinister and less ethical counterpart. What was formerly emotional pressure becomes an outward public spectacle.

Looking Ahead

This forecast outlines more than a week—it marks a shift in the balance of power.

We’re seeing storylines hit a climax. Not all will end, but all will change shape. By next week, the noise softens, but the consequences won’t. Expect to see who adapts, who doubles down, and who disappears.

Command Center: Strategic Response

If the whole week feels like a test of how much noise you can filter and how much truth you can hold—you’re not imagining it. The pressure is real, but it’s not personal. Your response, however, can be.

You don’t have to react to everything. You just have to respond to the right things.

Here’s how to stay grounded:

  • Filter the feedback. Not every headline is a call to action.

  • Lead from your own values. Don’t outsource your decision-making.

  • Protect your attention. Mars in Leo loves a scene. Pluto’s watching the room.

  • Let quiet choices speak loudly. Venus conjunct Saturn rewards long-term alignment.

Your role isn’t to dominate the moment. It’s to understand what’s shifting behind it.
